Here is an example of a group boat ride that is available, (I can't explain the upholstery fabric). There is a gondolier of sorts making the boat 'go' - and this lively friendly group thanked us for 'pulling over' so they could pass with plenty of space. The guy with the beer is not toasting us, he was saying that he is "drinking himself beautiful" (translation courtesy of Christian)...hmmm, he might have further to go with that project.

On the right is where we parked our boat when we stopped for bite of lunch...our boat is behind me in this photo because I wanted to include the parking sign. The small restaurant is just there on the right - looking out at the canal.
