The next day, less than an hour
from town, we stopped here for
some photos. On the right is a
limestone plant (no longer in working order I think, but not sure), which now features a small cafe and guest house. Somewhere in these towers alot of art treasures from Dresden were stored during the war -- why here ? we couldn't figure. On the left are two unassuming buildings across from the plant... they are an example of GDR era facades - sort of brown and plain. These are still a fairly common site when one gets outside of the city limits. That's Christian crossing the road for a photo-opp.
