Another small village, chickens crossing road - irresistable photo-opp. In the background is an old factory from the early 20th C. that now houses a crafts business - which produces well known and beloved Christmas items. Mostly made of wood and painstakingly handmade, these traditional items are having a tough time these days due to cheap competition from Asia and big box stores. The people there were very nice about letting us roam around and take pictures - here are some items in process, and nutcrackers above waiting for their traditional head-gear.
