On the left is the art museum of
Chemnitz where Bob Dylan is currently exhibiting drawings & paintings on paper. Yes, that Bob.
We were curious and hopped on a train to have a look...any excuse to get on the train and ride around.

And here is the famed sculpture of Karl Marx that the city decided to keep as a relic of old socialist times. It was decided by former East German government to make Chemnitz a model socialist city and its name was changed to Karl Marx Stadt (city) in 1953. In June 1990 after reunification, the city changed its name back to Chemnitz. Here is Christian taking a photo -
