Weimar is where the Bauhaus began
in 1919.

I was happy to be invited by friend Ulli to visit with students and present my work there at the University Bauhaus in Weimar. She was a student there years ago and was teaching a course there this spring.

On the right is the Bauhaus museum in the really small, beautiful diamond-of-a-town Weimar, a very unassuming building architecturally speaking, but they had a nice small collection of Bauhaus-made objects - some from students as well as former faculty. On the left is a lithographic print of an exhibition announcement -- so wonderfully-Bauhausy-looking.

Hi honey,

I read recently something about Weimar, Germany. Something about their form of gov't. Do you know anything about it?
