I kept thinking of Frederick Law Olmstead as I walked through....

I have a biography on Olmstead and started reading it just after this visit. I wonder if he knew about this park...probably. I guess maybe I'll find out if I ever finish that really thick book. Needless to say, I was wowed and wooed by this view on the right.... after my visit with the print students,

I came here and just sat looking for a long time. The weather was very companionable for an hour or so on this afternoon.
