Here is our new friend Uli from Berlin.
We went to a small opening for a very interesting art project he recently completed. He went through a predominantly Turkish neighborhood in a southerly eastern part of the city and asked people to make a small drawing of their "house". He ended up speaking with alot of children and getting help from them to translate for their family members who speak no German. He collected a couple of hundred drawings (i think) and stitched them together in 'Photoshop' to recreate the neighborhood blocks he walked up and down. He made a huge printout that you see here (made up of individual blocks) and then also had smaller versions of the "map" printed and will distribute one to each person who contributed a drawing.
