These are older photos from when I purchased my car in November.
In the top photo is Thompson's Grocery Store - "out in the country" (auf dem Land) but one can also
buy a license plate for a car at the local DMV (division of motor vehicles) that is located in the little
country grocery store. Here is also a photo inside the grocery store at the " DMV counter " next to
the "Hostess Cupcakes" - das ist ja gemütlich, aber nicht typisch. Damals war viel mehr sowie.
But now, there are not many places like this in Virginia or in the US anymore. This is special
and really pretty sweet. The middle photo is back at "Kenny's Auto" (ein Autoladen auch auf dem Land)
where I bought my car from "Kenny" - he is attaching the license plate for me. Sehr nett, sehr freundlich.
